ACW at Schmidt Artist Lofts

-Art to Change the World was invited to be the featured organization during St. Paul Art Crawl Fall 2025 at the Schmidt Artist Lofts. All active ACW members are welcome to submit art to be on display.

-There is a call for art that will be in the August newsletter

 

Salon Explorations > Approved for a 6-month trial period

-Katie has suggested that we expand on the ACWSalons@HQ program to have activities at other locations

-These could be located at more accessible spaces so we could get new attendees

 

Anyone running social media for ACW should start giving reports on stats like how many new followers we have each year.

 

Artistic-Re-Use-A-Thon project has a call for art out

 

Think of new ways we can honor our donors

 

MCAD partnership – ACW will be the client for their animation class

 

Link’s Project (Approved)

-Class on Lino cut printing

-Thinking this would be offered multiple times

-Prints could be on display at the Fox Den or Intern Gallery

-Possible name suggestion by Sam “Resist through Relief”

-See if Wet Paint would sponsor project or donate supplies

-Make it a whole day event with lunch

July 7th and 9th – Western Art Show at Solar Arts Building

August 17th 10am to 4pm – Bizarre Bazaar art event in North St Paul

October 10th to 12th – St Paul Art Crawl

On Location:  Becca/Deb On Location Drawing Report:

Deb Ripp led the 2nd On Location Salon on June 21 on an extremely hot day with 3 attendees @ ACW Headquarters.

Facebook Page is up to 369 followers… we started with 207 in 2022…we are engaging with other Facebook Groups and continuing with the Ink52 drawing prompts.

We are considering Sept 20 and either Dec 6 or 13th for the next 2 Salons. Reservations to follow.

Also – planning a free evening On Location outing in August 15 at Pimento on the Lake from 6pm – 9pm. There will be live music and food is on your own dime. Music Provided by The Bridge Band.
