ACW Board Meeting

Herman would like to continue to be on the board. He will join us for another 3-year term.
Our donor pledge program seems to be working. This will help with operations money so we can focus on paying artists.
We are working on the applications of multiple grants and have now created a grant writing committee.
During the most recent leadership meeting we came up with descriptions for all those involved in actively running ACW.
Fox Den Gallery – We now have added on the front hallway at ACW headquarters to be part of this welcoming gallery opportunity for our members.
Emma Norton and CommonBond Communities have been super successful partnerships and led to many opportunities for us. This included the Art Treasures Gallery on our website. Both artists and ACW earn money from this online gallery.
Dow Gallery Partnership is our newest program. We will be having an exhibition with the Mississippi River Pearl sculpture and environment themed artworks by ACW artists. Gallery owner Khanh is also now giving ACW members a discount on framing.
The Flux Frost Fest event at the Flux Arts Building, including ACW headquarters, was a success. Layl is interested in making it an annual event and possibly adding a Spring version.
Cabin Fever Reliever (our winter programing) will be back again soon. Kelly has come up with 8 classes for people to participate in.
We want to come up with an ACW “avatar” or brand identity four our social media to help with consistency as well as promoting how creative we are.
