Hold Us Tight – Fresh Eye Gallery show ends

Nina Martine Robinson will be participating in Fresh Eye Gallery’s exhibition with her installation “empty without you”.
Nina’s work explores the ramifications of neurodiversity, specifically autism spectrum disorder on the family. Many individuals on the spectrum do not like to be touched or hugged. This can lead to dysphoria within the family unit. My use of sleeves sewn together to form figurative shapes are metaphors for hugging, individualism and speak to the repetitive behaviors that are synonymous with ASD.
