Call for Art from Susan Gainen

I was invited to hang a show at the Burnhaven (Burnsville) Library in July & August 2022 which has 150 feet of Walker Display System.  I thought about a solo show for about 15 seconds and then decided to invite ACW artists to join me. More artists. More art. More fun.

Theme: Whimsy and Joy: it’s what we need.

Number of Artists: 5 total, each gets 30 feet of Walker display..

Deadline: April 25

From the Library Staff:  Any art would need to be ready to hang and broadly appropriate for all ages and for a county-owned building. An exhibit could be a collection of work by one artist, or a group show. We can display information about the artist on the walls. The library can’t sell artworks, but we can connect buyers to the artists themselves. Pre-pandemic our library averaged about 600 people per day (and we’re getting busy again), so this would be a great opportunity to expose your work to lots of new eyes in the community.
