The 29th Annual Community Peace Celebration is Friday, June 20th, from 2:00 – 6:00 pm.  It will be held on the grounds of the UGMTC Administrative Offices, located at 376 Western Avenue North, St. Paul, MN 55103. Learn more at communitypeacecelebration.org

UGMTC is the Union Gospel Mission – Twin Cities, formerly known as the Ober Community Center. There is NO religious affiliation associated with the Community Peace Celebration (CPC); the event has a history with the Ober Center, which is central to the Rondo neighborhood. The UGMTC offered us their space for the event – and its “mission” is to feed and find shelter for the homeless, which fits nicely with our purpose – sharing love and cultivating peace. The CPC is a free event with live music, dance, and spoken word performances. Lots of free food too!  Elders and Change-Makers from the Rondo and Frogtown neighborhoods are recognized. There are usually about 20 exhibitors  – mostly offering information and neighborhood resources.
