The purpose of the PMTP is to give our social justice projects the best chance for success and to develop and support our inter-personal dynamics as we create events employing Art to Change The World.
Mandatory Characteristics for an effective project management leader. Is this, or could this, be you? Organized/Empathic/Inspirational/Equitable/ Calm under pressure/Courageous/ Open to feedback/Able to put own ego aside/Ability to enforce policy/ Politically savvy
Pre-Req Criteria to enter the Training Program:
Prereq Criteria to enter the PMTP program:
1. Be, or Become, a member of ACW, scholarships available.
2. Volunteer a minimum of 6 hours
3. Create a brief Project Proposal approved by ACW Director to be used at the training. We encourage you to choose a topic which might end up being an ACW project. https://www.arttochangetheworld.org/how-to-submit-a-project-proposal
4.Prepare a 1 minute elevator speech to pitch your project. Components: 1. Hook 2. Purpose and Impact 3. Why you need support.

Art To Change The World is accepting Project Management Training applications from Art To Change the World members. You can pursue an entire degree focused on how to run a project. There are so many moving parts! The one-day ACW training session we are designing will include Practical Nuts and Bolts in the morning and Head and Heart curriculum in the afternoon. Six ACW community leaders and businesspersons will also be speaking. Are you interested?
