PMT Training Report December 2025

ACW Leaders , Barbara Bridges, Kelly Frankenberg  and Layl McDill organized the 3rd Annual  Project Management Training on December 13, 2025.  Margo Ashmore, Tom Fulton and Herman Milligan also led curriculum modules.  Click here to review the entire PMT Handbook: https://www.arttochangetheworld.org/project-management-training-handbook

We met from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM  at ACW Headquarters on Lowry  and enjoyed pastries from Aki’s and lunch from the Eastside Food Coop .

Barbara  does a simple hit count and then does an analysis and makes recommendations for moving forward.  Anyone can do a survey eval this way.

We collected 17 surveys from participants.   We asked them to rate the efficacy of the session between 1and 6.  The average was 5.5.

The top 5  Most Helpful Strategies were : Project Proposals, Small Group Exercises,  Building Community, Communication Protocols  and Lunch with : it was revitalizing to go over core values and mission, share best practices, elevator speech, and poetry  reading receiving more than 1 response.   We will definitely keep all of these strategies  for the next PMT session!

Modifications for Next Time which received more than 1 response were:
More workshop time for edits for proposals, start later and go later, and a larger venue.

Recommendations for Next Time:

It is recommended that ACW offers two PMT sessions a year and attendance is capped at 12.  November and June. We have had tremendous interest and offering two PMT sessions would solve most of the recommended modifications. We will have more room to spread out, could  start later, and more time to workshop the proposals. This will also offer PMT access to those who join between  December and  June.
