Biography
Born in New Haven, CT. Received a BFA in Illustration from Paier College of Art. In the beginning, I freelanced for Corona Beer, Wrigley, Hasbro Toy Company, Yale University and others. I was also a film developer/printing/etc at a Photo lab and I was an art teacher for over 10 years.
In August of 2000, I started developing a series of lush, comic like paintings. I also had a series where I parody other famous artists and their artwork. I've gotten lot's of press, awards and grants from my work. My art has been exhibited all over the world. From CBGB's 313 Galley in New York City to The Walker in Liverpool, UK. I also sell my art as magnets and prints.
Other artsy projects I do is I'm the producer a combo live circus and animation fest called, Forgot to Laugh: Sideshow and Animation Festival. And I make short videos under the name Dr. Wildé.
I currently reside in Saint Paul, MN with my wife, two cats and the 8 foot cyborg gorilla that lurks in our backyard.
