Art A Whirl 2026
The ACW Artist Tour is kicking off at the Flux Arts Building at 2505 Howard St. NE • Minneapolis, MN 55418
MAY 15–17, 2026 • NORTHEAST MINNEAPOLIS ARTS DISTRICT, Friday 5–10pm, Saturday 12–8pm, Sunday 12–5pm FREE Available Parking! We are on the Trolley route!
Come by ACW Headquarters during Art-a-Whirl to learn more about our organization, meet and view some of our artists and their work, and pick up the Artist Tour Directory to see where all our ACW artists are located during the festival!
In collaboration with Flux Arts & Recovery Bike Shop, we will be offering activities in the theme of Disco Cowboy! Come see us at ACW headquarters–upstairs in the Flux Arts building–and check out the free & paid activities offered below!

Enjoy the nostalgia of mini things by designing your own mini bookshelf. Pick your color, then select your tiny books, trinkets, chotchkes and more!
Flash Tattoos – A New Tattoo Co by Maddie Schule
ACW Headquarters (upstairs at Flux Arts Building) | Friday 5pm-10pm | $50-$150
Maddie is a fine line tattoo artist and will be offering a variety of flash tattoo options aligned with the theme of Disco Cowboy, as well as a few non-theme ones. She will be there Friday evening–walk-ins welcome, a sign up sheet may be required depending on demand.
Upcycled Disco Cowboy Hats – Liisa Lê
ACW Headquarters(upstairs at Flux Arts Building) | Saturday 12-3pm | Free!
Bedazzle, disco, glitter, bead, or whatever creative design your heart desires for this free make & take activity of decorating your own cowboy/cowgirl/cowfolk hat!
Bedazzled Disco Ponies – Barbara Bridges
ACW Headquarters (upstairs at Flux Arts Building) | Saturday 3-6pm | Free!
Another disco cowboy make & take activity for folks of all ages! Bedazzle, disco, and glam up your own pony figurine. Ponies of various sizes and all decor provided.
Abstract Collage Portraits – Bryce Mason

Come by and make abstract art with collage and hand made stamps.

ENTER TO WIN UP TO $100 WORTH OF ART!
You can enter a raffle to win up to $100 worth of art from ACW artists on display at our headquarters! There are 2 ways to enter:
- Show up at ACW Headquarters (upstairs) any day during Art-A-Whirl Weekend and fill out survey for ACW
- Show up at ACW Headquarters (upstairs) any day during Art-A-Whirl Weekend dressed in Disco Cowboy themed attire-whatever that means to you!
Yes, that means if you show up dressed in theme AND fill out the survey, you get to enter your name into EACH raffle. At the end of the weekend we will draw 1 name from each raffle bundle (costumes and surveys), and notify the 2 winners. The winners will coordinate with someone from ACW to come and select the artwork that they want (up to $100, or $200 if you enter both raffles and are lucky enough to be selected). We will take photos (with permission), fun polaroids, and there will be fun cowboy/western theme props downstairs for fun photo ops as well!
