Biography
Denise Lau is a Minneapolis based multimedia artist and crafter. She explores landscapes and seasons through dimensional paintings, printmaking, weaving, and sculptures with pareidolia. You will often see faces in the trees in her various forms of art. Her art practice is experimental in technique and material. Her work has been seen in Art-A-Whirl, White Bear Center for the Arts, F-O-K Creatives, Squirrel Haus, Fox Den, Art to Change the World, the MN Zoo’s Hanfl Nature Center, The Dow Gallery, the Katherine E. Nash Gallery, and Regis West exhibits. Her work is in numerous private collections throughout the Midwest where she works as a freelance artist and instructor.
