I have created 2 pitch packets for volunteers.
They are on the small black book case right before you go into the kitchen on the right.
Please review everything in the black mesh bag packet and read the Talking Points. According to who you are talking to – select examples which you think may be of interest. Fancy people seem to be interested in chowdah feed and vision award or neurodivergent- the Grand Hand booklet. Etc. They can not keep them. Super expensive to print. YOU MAY give away buttons etc in the small plastic bag. More in the cupboard near the bathroom. Kids love the ACW love heart necklaces. Encourage them to sign Newsletter clipboard list up on the swag table in HQ. Assure them that ALL they will get is a once a month newsletter and then stick to that!!
Please put the pitch packet back on the bookcase as soon as you can so others can use it.
I have tried this before and the pitch packets disappeared.
Thanks SO much for this service to ACW.
More Tips:
We have found sitting at a table does not work. It works best for me when I circulate around… engage them in conversation about what they have on, or are selling etc. Then IF it seems appropriate… bring up something about ACW. Give them a pin. Invite them to go upstairs and get a beverage and delicious snack AND win a free t-shirt. You CAN give them the T-shirt handout. Watch for the glaze in the eyes or looking nervously to the right or left. LOL
I have found they can not find their way through Layl’s studio. If they really want to go up there to HQ… escort them to the bottom of the stairs.
