Approved Kelly’s new job title of Operations Director. She will help with defining the parameters of this new role.
Approved to be a fiscal sponsor for Laura’s project. Laura is willing to sign a contract before listing us in the grant.
Approved looking into doing a case study of one of our big projects like Emma Norton or Pearl.
Notes:
We have updated our leadership positions and stipends to help distribute the everyday work.
Our finances are looking great! Thank you to all those who donated and the hard workers looking for grants.
Storage room at ACW Headquarters is basically a store for our members.
First Saturdays at Flux – Members can be upstairs in ACW Headquarters to get volunteer hours and build community.
ACWSalons@HQ is our newest way to keep events at ACW Headquarters organized. These can be anything from classes/workshops to movie nights.
Barbara created a project about people over 65 create illustrated comedic essays exploring how to grow old with grace, style and humor.
C4 (Constructive Creative Critique Club) – Layl helped reimagine club critique with a group of members and this new version is free our members.

The Flux Arts Building has been having some very successful events recently. The Garden Art Fling was even on TV.
We need to look into MPR’s Art Hounds program.
Project Management Training
-Will be moving it to September so it happens again sooner.
-Laura and Apollo would be happy to help update the handbook
Next meeting September 17th at 6pm in person at ACW Headquarters > Dinner provided, feel free to bring something. Please make sure all food it is nut free.
