Artist Statement: I created this piece after a trip to the Badlands in Colorado in spring of 2021. It was my first trip after being vaccinated and the world seemed so full of magic!  We were hiking well into the Badlands when I saw the telephone poles climbing their way through parts of some of the most rugged Badlands!  I took a photo and created this dimensional piece based on it.  As I created even more odd things started to appear.
