Functional one cup of tea teapot covered with tiny millefiori slices of dogs, bugs, flowers and even mermaids. Description and artist statement: Functional one cup of tea teapot covered with tiny millefiori slices of dogs, bugs, flowers and even mermaids. My clay pieces are inspired by playfulness and serendipity. When I make my teapots I often start with the shape of the teapot and wait to see what it tells me it wants to be.   I create millefiori canes from colored clay which I layer and stretch then slice to reveal tiny images in the clay.  I add these slices to the teapot and it comes to life.    Contact: layl@claysquared.com  Read More: http://laylmcdill.com/
