The exhibit will include original artwork created for this project. \nThese author/artists met and wrote from January-June 2026. DESCRIPTION:ACW HQ (699 LOWRY AVENUE NE)\, SEPTEMBER 5TH\, 2026\, 4-6PM \n\nThis Salon is part of my intern project happening in Spring 2027 called “Home-Building”\,\na community based making event revolving around the idea and aesthetics of home\,\nplace\, and memory\, culminating in a large scale installation constructed out of canvases\nand panels in an outside and accessible area.\nThis salon will involve painting\, drawing\, or collaging on small\, pre-cut canvases/panels\nto be made into a model on provided bases. You will be responding visually to phrases\,\nquestions\, and anecdotes about the idea of home. It will act as a trial run for the larger\nscale event and as a way to learn and improve upon my concept. The models will be\nphotographed downstairs and can either be taken home or I will keep them and use\nthem in conjunction with the final installation.
