Speakeasy is open 5-10 pm on Friday\, Nov. 4\, 2-8 pm on Saturday\, Nov. 5\, and noon-4 pm on Sunday\, Nov. 6. Speakeasy profits go to support Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. ACW members Margo Ashmore\, Josh Blanc\, and others are on the Arts District board\, with a mission “to catalyze the innovative spirit of artists through generative community development.” Dedicated to making the geography look more and more like an arts district\, increasing the number of artists and arts organizations in the area\, and offering artist opportunities such as airport exhibits and the Northeast Calendar. We came up with the acronym BATS or Brilliant Artists Transforming Society to show that no matter what style of art you create it can make a difference in the world.
