DESCRIPTION:Call for Art from Susan Gainen\nI was invited to hang a show at the Burnhaven (Burnsville) Library in July & August 2022 which has 150 feet of Walker Display System.  I thought about a solo show for about 15 seconds and then decided to invite ACW artists to join me. More artists. More art. More fun. \nTheme: Whimsy and Joy: it’s what we need. \nNumber of Artists: 5 total\, each gets 30 feet of Walker display.. \nTo apply:  Send an email to susangainen@comcast.net with BURNHAVEN in the subject. Why do you want to join a whimsy/joy show? Attach 3 images. \nDeadline: April 25 \nFrom the Library Staff:  Any art would need to be ready to hang and broadly appropriate for all ages and for a county-owned building. An exhibit could be a collection of work by one artist\, or a group show. We can display information about the artist on the walls. The library can’t sell artworks\, but we can connect buyers to the artists themselves. Pre-pandemic our library averaged about 600 people per day (and we’re getting busy again)\, so this would be a great opportunity to expose your work to lots of new eyes in the community.
